Hiii!!! Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Lilly with two L’s.
I like walks, playing the piano, and being outside. I like sitting in my car, and staring out at a field being contemplative. I like sandwiches, a good pair of pants, docu-style film and photo, and music. I like using my hands to do things - gardening, cooking, and sometimes painting and ceramics. I love Jesus! I love my church who is my spiritual family & best friends. And I am SOOO honored, excited, and grateful to be a part of The Resonance Collective!! Right now I serve on the leadership team and am a part of The Resonance Band.
A little bit of my testimony: I met the Lord in January of 2020 during my freshman year of college. I had been attending “house church”, a weekly gathering of young adults and college students at a young couples house. We would worship, pray together and over one another, and seek the Holy Spirit. It was the first time I tangibly felt the presence of God. This sparked a hunger to read this devotional I had in my room, and I felt the Lord really reveal himself to me as I read The Word. From then on, I decided I wanted to pursue Jesus. It honestly didn’t even feel like a choice at that time, because it was just clear that this was the way I should go! I was baptized at Ashland Impact Mission in September of 2020, and have been on this adventure with Jesus ever since. :)
A big part of this adventure has been The Resonance Collective! I want to share with you all a few things I’ve learned from being a part of The Collective.
#1. God’s plans are better than our own. I never imagined this for myself, but it is so much better than I could’ve asked or imagined (Eph 3:20). For real. It is more fun, more exciting, more joyful, more real, more authentic, and more wild than I ever could dream or try to make happen on my own. Surrendering your life to Jesus is the best thing you can do.
#2. God designed us to be in community. God designed us to be known, to be loved, and to function within a body. The greatest moves of God in my life have been through a people surrendered to Him. The Collective reflects God’s design in this way, and I believe it is one of our greatest gifts that we get to pursue Jesus together and create with one another.
#3. God is doing a MIGHTY WORK in the earth right now!! I believe that The Resonance Collective will be used in a mighty way by God in this time. There are countless prophecies about our generation being a generation that will BUILD, that will worship God in freedom and authenticity, and that Jesus will ride in on our praises. Creativity is a part of revival and the harvest, and I have faith that if we submit ourselves to God, come humbly before Him and ask Him to have His way in us, and BELIEVE (cuz we are #BELIEVERS!!!), God is going to use The Resonance Collective to bring Heaven down.
